Lyftman LR-System lightweight crane systems

TAWI manufactures Lyftman monorail, single girder cranes in steel and aluminium, twin girder cranes, curves, low built systems and floor mounted constructions.

Our cranes and jibs are manufactured based on the Lyftman LR-System profiles. The reliable and cost effective steel profile LR120/170 is produced from cold rolled, single piece high strength steel. The self-adjusting joint concept is designed to simplify installation. Our automatic powder coating line ensures high quality resistance to corrosion and long service life. With four basic track sizes an optimized combination is always guaranteed. Offers a span up to 8 meters between supports for ceiling structures with infrequent support points.

Lyftman jib cranes in aluminium up to 125 kg

Lyftman manual jib cranes are available in four basic versions for installation on a wall or column to handle goods up to 125 kg.

Most of the models are available with jib arm in aluminium to offer the least amount of friction. These jibs can be installed to a wall or column and are suitable for lightweight goods handling. The radius of action is available between 180-270 degrees. Arm length up to 6 m.

Monorail

The monorail system is a cost effective choice with all the advantages of the Lyftman LR-System. The monorail serves a working area along a straight line when there is no demand for sideways transportation. The modular design of the LR-System allows for extensions and additions to create an x-y system anytime.

Single girder crane steel

The single girder crane system is the most popular type of industrial installation. This system covers a rectangular (x-y) working area. Multiple girders are typically used when the system covers more than one working station. With multiple girders the complete system can either be dimensioned to handle the heaviest weight, or buffers/stops can be used to separate the working areas.

Single girder crane aluminium

Boxes of eggs are palletized using a vacuum lifter in a crane system with both girder and bridge in aluminium profile. The low weight of the system is a great advantage for the operator who moves the crane bridge manually.

Twin girder crane

A twin girder crane system is the heavy-duty choice. The twin girders are welded together in a triangular construction to stabilize operation when handling loads up to 1500 kg. The twin girder crane is optionally equipped with motorized trolleys to automate the traveling motion of the girder and/or hoist. The two-speed motorized trolleys can be equipped with a frequency converter for more options.

Curves

Curves are a natural step towards the optimal overhead system. With 45 degree angular modules in combination with the family of profiles and the flexible range of suspensions we can offer a perfect system, every time. Curves are used to follow a production line through the manufacturing process and to create a more flexible monorail where single girder cranes are out of the questions due to obstructions.

Floor mounted constructions

The Lyftman LR-system can be suspended from free-standing constructions, as shown in the picture. A free-standing construction is flexible and easy to install.

Combined systems

By combining steel and aluminium profiles an optimized system is created. This ”miniature” system is installed in the warehouse construction so that the operator no longer has to reach in and lift the heavy boxes of printed material manually.

Low built systems

The low built crane system is a compact solution, designed to allow a maximum possible vertical hook stroke in areas with low headroom. The special low built construction holds the girder and gantry at the same level.

Jib cranes light weight goods

With a correct choice of jib crane, it is possible to work very quickly with a minimum of manual force. A manually operated jib is most effective when the outer part (2/3) of the arm is used. The total length of the arm should not exceed what is needed to cover the working area.

Jib cranes sack lifting

Sacks are often lifted in the food and plastic industries. Most common is the manual lifting and moving of sacks from pallet and into the production line. This is extremely strenuous work, often combined with turning motions, over a small area. A tube lifter in a jib crane, column- or wallmounted, is a perfect solution.

Jib cranes miscellaneous

For repetitive, stationary lifting situations, a jib crane is the perfect solution. If there is no wall or column construction available for the installation, the column can be delivered from TAWI.
